We are afraid we will fall over her. She came from the SPCA as a puppy, but is very fearful of everything. Simone adams on July 7, 2016 at 8:01 pm When our 3 yr old terrier mix Henrietta is on a dog bed & we open the back door to let another dog in-she ALWAYS gets up & runs @ them viciously barking & growling. Luckily they ignore her but how do we get her to just stop it?! Thanks-Simone & Maury Connie on July 7, 2016 at 5:45 pm My pit/boxer mix, 2 1/2 years old, breaks into barking for unknown reasons. This happens sporadically during the day, I have taken to shaking a small bottle with coins, which helps or not at all. This has been going on about a month, is it time to go to the vet? Elizabeth Crow on July 7, 2016 at 4:35 pm My super good natured year old staff terrier mix -is great – but sometimes he expresses dominance / aggression with other, younger males at the park. He bites/holds the cheek/lips of the dog which is TOO much for me. We pull him off – I worry that it would escalate, seems so. Is this “normal” do I simply need to watch his energy and avoid these dogs and he’ll grow out of it? It starts as “play” This has happened with only 3 dogs – but I don’t want it to ever happen. thanks:) Lee Ann Glona on July 7, 2016 at 4:32 pm How do I calm my dog from aggressive behavior when a guest comes over with their dog? He growls and raises his hair. He has actually started a fight with some of them.
