With little to no competition and thousands of pet owners in their territory, Curtiss and Melba know that each day will bring a new puppy or dog, much needed obedience training and behavior modification.
They also look forward to returning to “the clients in progress” to successfully finish their behavior modification or obedience training series of lessons.
Melba logs onto Petiquette’s proprietary software to review their schedule for the day. With client referrals, their territory marketing plan and Petiquette’s call center sending new customers for their growing in-home dog training business, their days are filling up with private lessons. Time to hit the road!
First private lesson of the day in their client’s home. This is the third lesson in the series of behavior modification for barking at the front door. So far the owners have been very good about working their dog in between lessons. Melba rings the doorbell, and there is silence. Curtiss and Melba turn and smile at each other.
Time to stop for lunch and check their messages for inquires before heading out for their next lesson in a series of obedience dog training.
Next, a new puppy lesson with a 12 week old golden retriever. Can’t wait! The owners have 3 small children and it’s nice to educate the kids on how to behave with the dog as well as teaching the puppy to behave. Leave lesson covered in puppy kisses.
Last lesson of the day. Meet client with a rowdy shelter dog. The new owner is ready to take the dog back, but after the first lesson, the owner begins to see how to better understand their dog and create a balanced relationship.
Arrive home relaxed and satisfied.
